About Chris Diagnostic

Located at 46 E Main St, New Rochelle, NY 10801, Chris Diagnostic operates as an auto repair shop serving New Rochelle in New York. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

In New Rochelle, shops are busiest on Monday mornings and before holiday weekends, so a mid-week appointment gets a car seen faster. Labor rates across New York vary by neighborhood and by shop type, from small independents to dealership service bays, and mobile mechanics now cover many routine jobs in the driveway. Before authorizing a repair, ask for the estimate in writing, whether the shop warranties parts and labor (12 months / 12,000 miles is common, some offer more), and whether it can provide a loaner or a shuttle. Check the listing for hours, the makes the shop works on and its Google rating, then call ahead, since walk-in capacity is limited at smaller shops.

No hours are on file. If you plan a visit, phone first or check the Google Maps link on this page for the latest times. The listed phone number is (914) 636-2559. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone.

Its Google rating is 4.1 out of 5 from 18 reviews, a solid but mixed picture; reading the most recent reviews will tell you what to expect.

Just got an inspection done. I was sitting at a Dunkin' Donuts a few minutes down the road while waiting for my car. About 45 minutes later I see someone standing in front of me. He had brought me my car key and completed inspection report and told me to just go back to the station and pay. Amazing service.

I had an oil change here and it was a great experience. The service was quick and hassle-free, with friendly staff who provided clear explanations of what was done. They also performed a complimentary check of my car's fluid levels and filters. I'll definitely return for future maintenance needs!

Tried using this business on two different occasions both times I was met with disrespect and disappointment. Tony and his worker (tall big guy) needs to learn customer service skills. Took my business to a shop in white plains instead. DONT COME HERE unless you’re willing to deal with arrogant ***holes

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE I took my car there for repair and I was told I needed some front end work along with the electrical work that was done. I told the mechanic I will schedule the front end work next week just do the electrical work. When I dropped off my car I had four new tires I bought previously from Mavis Discount tires. When I picked my car up I noticed the steering had gotten worsted and thought I needed the front end work to correct the issue. When I went home I looked at my tires and noticed one tire was different from the other three tires. I went back and asked the owner Chris why I was missing a tire. I told him I dropped this car off with four brand new tires and when I picked the car up I have three new tires. I asked Chris to look into this matter, Chris replied Mavis sold you these tires call them. I told Chris the different tire is worn out and not new. Chris, can you please look into this matter. “Chris replied no” It’s your problem not mine. I purchased another tire and the car is running fine. The mechanic said the tire was not balanced and that was the cause of steering issues.
